Regular stops for leg stretching, food and water personal pet care
Pets needing medication receive their medication at the correct time even during transportation, thereby eliminating any additional health-risks.

There are no “breed restrictions” as in air transport (for example, all types of snub-nosed dogs)
There are no temperature restriction; CCPS uses climate controlled vehicles

Effective as from 29 December 2014 a new style pet passport is been introduced!
The introduction of this new style passport is made to improve the traceability and security of the passport.
What is different from the ‘old’ EU Passport? (Main changes)
The NEW EU pet Passport:
- Include laminated strips to cover those pages with the pet’s details, microchip information and each rabies vaccination entry.
- Has a dedicated page to record the details of the vet who has issued the passport.
- A ‘valid from’ date will need to be added for rabies vaccinations (excluding boosters).
Why an EU Pet Passport?
Dogs, cats and ferrets moving between Member States must be accompanied by an EU pet passport.
When relocating to a Member State of the EU, as a non-EU citizen, you should apply for an EU Passport for your pet, which can be issued based on the information available in a Third Country veterinary certificate with supporting documents.
Is the old format passport still valid?
YES.
Any passport (the ‘old’ model under 2003/803/EC) issued before 29 December 2014 will remain valid for the lifetime of the pet or until all the treatment spaces are filled. All passports issued on or after 29 December 2014 must be in the new format based on Regulation EU No. 577/2013.
Where to get an EU Pet Passport?
Any Official Veterinarian in an EU member State is licensed to write out a pet passport.
The passport must be signed and stamped with the Official Veterinarian stamp in any ink colour other than black.
Vets are not allowed to issue old models of passports after 29 December 2014.
